Developing Character Action and plotting the emotional journey of the character are the focus of the class. Study such memorable characters as Prior, Belize, Harper and Joe, Ethel Rosenberg and, of course, the Angel. All levels of acting welcome, from newbie to superstar.

David Henderson has taught acting professionally for 15 years and has been a prolific director for 30 years. As the co-Artistic Director of Method Machine Lab, he plans to do great and radical things with co-Artistic Director Rosie Gordon. Local directing credits are Deer and Red at Ojai Arts Center Theater and The New Century at Santa Paula Theater Center. In Rochester, NY David was the Artistic Director of an earlier version of Method Machine and directed more than 20 productions, including a National Tour. In NYC, Henderson directed at New York Theater Workshop, Gallery Players, Ontological Theater and more. His humble beginnings started as the Assistant Director for the West End production of Wit after two years as a stage manager with the show in NYC.
