EDGE returns for Anniversary Celebration!

METHOD MACHINE, Rochester’s premiere performance and art company remounts an audience favorite with a local performance of Paul Alexander’s EDGE. Marcy J. Savastano’s lauded performance of Sylvia Plath returns in celebration of the first anniversary of MuCCC, Rochester’s newest performance space. EDGE will take the stage on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $15 for Adults and $10 for Students and Seniors.

EDGE has been hailed as an “outstanding piece of theater” by Gailsez in North Adams, MA. Creative Loafing in St. Pete’s FL called Savastano’s performance, “remarkable. Paul Alexander’s play EDGE is set on the last day of the poet’s life, in her kitchen, and reflects on her childhood, her husband-poet Ted Hughes and her work. The play was the first production to be staged in the new performance space, MuCCC on Friday March 13, 2009. MuCCC was founded by Doug Rice as a turn-key, flexible performance space for local theater groups and performance artsists. METHOD MACHINE presented CLOSER in the round this past December. This production showcased the variety and creative possibilities that Doug Rice’s space inspires.
